Postdoctoral Fellowship at CFT Warsaw
I began a new position at the Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, working with Wojciech Hellwing on the cosmic web and small-scale structure.
Joining CFT in Warsaw
In September 2022 I moved to the Center for Theoretical Physics (CFT) of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, to work with Wojciech Hellwing and collaborators under the auspices of the COLAB project.
The focus at CFT is the cosmic web and its impact on the evolution of dark matter structure. In particular:
- How filaments, walls, and voids influence the formation and evolution of low‑mass haloes.
- Connecting the cosmic web in simulations with and without full physics.
This will help me expand my research interests attempting to understand the connection between galaxies and their environment.
Life in Warsaw
As for my move to Lyon a few years ago, I’m looking forward to experiencing a new part of Europe I haven’t had the opportunity to visit much before. Knowing Wojciech, I expect his group will be a vibrant and dynamic place to conduct research, and that there will be a lively exchange of ideas throughout my time at CFT!
